Athletic Heart SF offers affordable consultations and testing to screen for, diagnose, and treat any type of cardiovascular disease. If you are referring yourself you will have a brief complimentary phone call with our medical director to determine how to best address your concerns. A cardiology consultation allows Dr. Accad to learn about your symptoms and medical concerns as well as to perform a physical examination.

The electrocardiogram (ECG), also known as EKG, records the electrical activity generated by the heart to diagnose abnormal or irregular rhythms.

An echocardiogram (echo) is a set of ultrasound images of the heart that helps visualize the structure and function of the heart and its valves.

Payment Policies

Credit Card Payment
We ask for your credit card information when you schedule a visit. We kindly request full payment on the day of testing. We accept Visa, MasterCard or American Express credit cards.
Appointment Cancellation Fees

$65 fee for cancellations 12-48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

$95 fee for cancellations less than 12 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

Medical Insurance Reimbursement Forms
We will gladly assist you in filling out a claim form so you may obtain reimbursement from your health insurance plan. Please be advised that we do not have contracts with insurance companies and are considered "out of network." Also be advised that reimbursement can vary widely depending on the specific terms of your plan, your deductible, and whether your plan will cover advanced screening evaluations. Medicare beneficiaries should not expect any reimbursement from Medicare or supplemental plans.
